Luger today announced the sentencing of ANGELA CARTER, 33, to 30 months in federal prison for acting as a straw purchaser of two handguns. CARTER was indicted on May 12, 2014, and pleaded guilty on July 28, 2014, to one count of Causing a False Statement to be Maintained in the Records of a Federal Firearms Licensee. The defendant was sentenced on March 10, 2015, before Judge John R. Tunheim in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, Minn.
