Norwalk Man Who Illegally Sold Firearms Sentenced to more than 3 Years in Federal Prison

 

Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that RAUL CABAN-MARTES, 22, of Norwalk, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 40 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for illegally selling firearms.

ATF Chicago: Three Felons Sentenced to Prison for Kankakee Drug and Firearms Offenses

Three Felons Sentenced to Prison for Kankakee Drug and Firearms Offenses

 

Urbana, Ill. - Two men with prior felony convictions that designated them as career offenders, cousins Jermaine R. Speed and Rico J. Speed were sentenced today to 18 years in federal prison, and a third man, Charles D. Nance, was sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison, for illegal possession of firearms and distribution of crack cocaine, as announced by U.S. Attorney Jim Lewis, Central District of Illinois. The men have been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service since their arrests in September 2014.

ATF Denver: Denver Felon Sentenced to 16 Years in Federal Prison for Gun and Drug Distribution

Denver Felon Sentenced to 16 Years in Federal Prison for Gun and Drug Distribution

 

DENVER – A Denver man was sentenced to serve 16 years in federal prison last Friday for gun and drug charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced.  Maurice Alyn Mickling, age 28, of Denver, was ordered to serve 192 months in prison, followed by 4 years on supervised release by U.S. District Court Judge Raymond P. Moore.  Mickling appeared at the sentencing hearing in custody, and was remanded at its conclusion.

ATF New York Field Division: Rochester Man Pleads Guilty to Gun and Drug Charges

Rochester Man Pleads Guilty to Gun and Drug Charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Willie R. Wynn, 49, of Rochester, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford to possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while being a previously convicted felon. The drug charge carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison, a fine of $2,000,000 or both. The firearms charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000.00, or both. 

 

Rochester Man Sentenced on Drug Trafficking and Firearms Charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today   that Roger Alexander, 42, of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, was sentenced to 144 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa.

ATF Miami Field Division: Four Street Gang Members Convicted for Drug Conspiracy, Firearm and Violent Crime Charges

Miami-Dade County Resident Convicted for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm

 

A Brownsville resident was convicted by a jury for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Wifredo A. Ferrer, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Hugo J. Barrera, Special Agent in Charge, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Miami Field Division, J.D. Patterson, Director, Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), made the announcement.

 

Four Street Gang Members Convicted for Drug Conspiracy, Firearm and Violent Crime Charges

 

The leader and three other members of Big Money Team (BMT), a violent street gang that operates in the Little Havana and Allapattah neighborhoods of Miami, Florida, have been convicted of drug conspiracy, firearm and violent crime charges following a one month long trial.
