...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY FOR THE SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND NORTHERN SAN
JOAQUIN VALLEY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITY: LESS THAN 1/4 MILE...LOCALLY AS LOW AS 100 FEET OR
  LESS.

* TIMING: THROUGH 1000 AM.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF THE VALLEY EXTENDING
  SOUTHWARD FROM SOUTH OF YUBA CITY THROUGH THE SACRAMENTO AREA
  INTO THE NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY. HIGHWAYS IMPACTED
  INCLUDE...HIGHWAY 65 FROM ROSEVILLE TO MARYSVILLE...HIGHWAYS 70
  AND 99 NORTH OF SACRAMENTO...INTERSTATE 80 FROM SACRAMENTO TO
  LOOMIS...INTERSTATE 5 FROM SACRAMENTO TO SOUTH OF TRACY...
  HIGHWAY 50 FROM SACRAMENTO TO EL DORADO HILLS...HIGHWAY 99 FROM
  SACRAMENTO TO SOUTH OF MODESTO.

* IMPACTS: REDUCED VISIBILITY IN DENSE FOG TO LESS THAN 100 FEET
  AT TIMES. EARLY MORNING COMMUTERS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO
  REACH THEIR DESTINATION AND BE ALERT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN
  VISIBILITY.
