Contender profiles, early odds, workouts report, and more

The field for the Belmont Stakes, which takes place on June 8 at
Belmont Park, is coming into focus. DRF has you covered with extensive
profiles of all of the probables, including handicapping analyses for
each. One, Code West, worked at Churchill on Wednesday, but his
trainer Bob Baffert is not yet convinced he's a go for the Belmont.

Saturday: $500K Penn Mile + six stakes

Allowance races act as stakes preps

Joelito faces Uno Dos Adios in race 5; and Curly Top meets Fighting
Hussar and Little Jerry in race 7 at Hollywood Park on Thursday. The
pair of allowance races could turn out to be preps for June 23's
Tsunami Slew and July 4's Grade 2 Swaps Stakes, respectively.
