THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREAT FALLS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 3 PM MST SATURDAY.
* TIMING AND MAIN IMPACT: SNOW WILL DEVELOP AROUND OR SHORTLY
AFTER MIDNIGHT OVER THE MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN OF SOUTHWEST
MONTANA. SNOW WILL INTENSIFY SATURDAY MORNING WITH A BRIEF PERIOD
OF HEAVY SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS EXPECTED AS A STRONG COLD FRONT
MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. SNOW WILL DIMINISH TO SNOW SHOWERS
SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS. VALLEY LOCATIONS...INCLUDING THE
BOZEMAN...DILLON AND ENNIS AREAS ARE ONLY EXPECTED RECEIVE
AROUND AN INCH OR LESS OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
