BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN THE NORTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS...

.A STRONG WINTER STORM WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION SATURDAY
BRINGING SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW TO MUCH OF THE AREA. THIS STORM
WILL BE CAPABLE OF GENERATING UNUSUALLY STRONG WINDS ACROSS THE
NORTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS WHICH WILL BRING AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF WHITEOUT CONDITIONS. PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
REMAINDER OF THE WEEKEND RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS
IN THE MOUNTAINS AND PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWESTERN COLORADO
VALLEYS.

MIDNIGHT MST SUNDAY NIGHT...

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...8 TO 15 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IS EXPECTED BY
  MIDNIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT WITH AMOUNTS REACHING 20 INCHES ON
  EXPOSED WEST FACING RIDGES.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH SATURDAY
  MORNING...SHIFTING TO THE WEST AND INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH
  WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TO 45 MPH OR MORE SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO
  SUNDAY.

* VISIBILITY...FREQUENTLY LOWERING TO LESS THAN 1 MILE IN
