Ths information has recently been updated, and is now available.   The Captive Wildlife Rule Review Public Meetings will continue next week in Jacksonville and Orlando. The Jacksonville meeting will be on March 11, 2015 at the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville/Orange Park from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Orlando meeting will be on March 12, 2015 at the Hampton Inn & Suites Gateway/Orlando Airport from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. This series of statewide rule review meetings will give the public the opportunity to provide feedback on current rules for captive wildlife and recommendations for regulations. Our staff will be present to receive recommendations and answer questions. Anyone interested in regulations for captive wildlife in Florida is welcome to attend. Please see the attached flyer for more information regarding the meetings and the locations where they will be held.   If you are unable to attend a meeting but would like to submit rule recommendations, there are several ways to submit your recommendations. Recommendations can be submitted online at http://myfwc.com/license/captive-wildlife/ by clicking on the "Submit Recommendations for Captive Wildlife Rule Review" link, by email to CWRuleReview@MyFWC.com, or by completing the Rule Review Feedback Form on our website and submitting it by mail or fax.
